This walking tour of Aberdeen will show you some of the highlights of Aberdeen's past, its architecture, virtually lost history and the transformation from a medieval town to a grand Silver City which effectively bankrupted the town in the early 1800's. This tour is intended to interpret what you see when walking through the town with its many small streets, closes and impressive granite structures bringing you to today and Aberdeen's efforts to continue its development in improving city life and culture. There are several sloping streets and cobbled streets on this tour as well as some stairs. The tour focuses on the city centre and covers approximately a mile (1.6km) in distance.
