Aberdeen Inspired (Aberdeen’s Business Improvement District) organises Aberdeen Restaurant week to shine a light on the wide variety of excellent food options in the city. Fast becoming one of the most popular foodie events , Aberdeen Restaurant Week gives residents and visitors alike the chance to try some fantastic restaurants for the value price of £10 per person for a two-course lunch and £20 per person for a three-course dinner. Additional options such as tasting menus and afternoon teas will also be available. This time there are exciting new additions and events.

Food Tours

We are excited to announce Grampian Escapes and Tours has partnered with Aberdeen Inspired to offer Food Tours!  In recent years Aberdeen has seen an increase of world food options available in the city center. Many of which have a traditional street food feel. The Street Food Experience Tour will run five tours during Aberdeen Restaurant Week and offer guests the chance to experience some of the exciting new foodie choices.  Discover a bit about Aberdeen’s food and drink history along the way. You will have a chance to meet the hero’s behind the chosen eateries, finding out  more about them and their food inspirations.Aberdeen City Food Tour

With both evening and afternoon tours available there is no excuse not try something different, unless of course you’re too late! Each tour is limited to a maximum of 16 spaces so don’t wait too long to book.

What’s included?
All food and soft drinks are included in your tour fee.

Booking
Booking cut-off is 1 hour before the start of the tour. All bookings for the Aberdeen Street Food Experience Tour must be made online using the link.

What do I need to bring?
Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather in Aberdeen. The tour will proceed in all-weather. All food and drink samples on the tour are included in the fee. This is a walking tour through the city center, there are traffic and uneven surfaces on the route but generally accessible. There are some stairs to several venues, however arrangements can be made for those with mobility issues to get access or assistance.

Cancellation policy
A cancellation fee of 100% will apply if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before event.
